Themselves accountable. There should be zero tolerance for physical violence in your football program. If everyone takes responsibility- I am a firm believe the choices we see from college players & NFL players will be better down the road.

More concerned with getting these athletes ready for the next stage of LIFE. Not just football. Yes play to win, but develop young men with integrity, discipline & self control. Not only football, but the WORLD is going to be a better place is these coaches and players hold

brain hasn’t developed yet. And if all they see is coaches cussing at other coaches, yelling at kids on the field, fighting parents, fighting coaches… the behavior is going to be normalized and they will carry that attitude into their daily life. In youth football we need to be

Lacks of discipline. But it stems from the top down. I’m not going to tell anybody how to parent their kid. I’m no expert on parenting but I will hold the coaches accountable. Football is going to end for LITERALLY everyone. And young kids are so impressionable because their…

Anytime something’s goes wrong, doesn’t go your way, or you get a bad call to use physical violence or threats as a way to deal with it? It’s honestly pretty disgusting. We constantly see NFL players & college players getting popped with a domestic violence charge, DUIs - all are

Parents & coaches getting into it… sometimes leading to even worse violence like stabbings or shootings. I’ve never been more upset with youth football, simply because what example are we trying to set for our youth? To not have self control? To not have discipline?

So recently I saw a video of two youth football teams in Fullerton CA where something happened that caused parents, coaches & PLAYERS to start throwing punches and have an all out brawl. I posted something on YouTube about it & I got flooded with a bunch of stories about youth

Now in my honest opinion I feel the best athletes are TEs. When you look at an elite D1 level TE he’s anywhere from 6’3-6’5 generally. He runs a sub 4.8 40yd dash, has great hands, can run routes & can block. Personally I don’t think there are many better athletes in all sports

Going is enough for me to say they are the best athletes. I know football is violent but there is nothing like getting punched in the face and having to continue for 3-5 rounds. Let me know what you guys think in the comments below!

Now listen, I am as big of a football guy as anybody… but I don’t think football has the best athletes in all sports. I’m going to have to go with an MMA fighter. The cardio, explosiveness, conditioning and the fact that they get punched in the face & still have to keep…

If he does well in high school, guess what? He can get ACTUALLY ranked by a website who doesn’t require payment & actually get REAL college coach attention. The reality is everyone lies on social media. Please do not believe everything you see & play the comparison game.

Some BS on social media about a ā€œ6th grade 5 starā€. It’s crap. Don’t waste your time & money on these website & camps to get your youth player ā€œrankedā€. Use those resources towards things that will improve his game. That will actually get him on the field in high school.

So it’s all about hype and it’s all about getting ā€œfollowersā€. So why do I write this? Is it because I’m a hater? No, I write this because I don’t want the hundreds of thousands of athletes who aren’t ā€œrankedā€ at the age of 10,11,12 & 13 to get down on themselves when they see

It would be a verbal offer. Which is non binding and most of the time it’s from an assistant coach who the parent knows and they are doing a favor. Sometimes they do the favor for a cash payment. Yes you read that right, it shocked me too the first time I heard it.

Some might say, ā€œoh it’s for college exposureā€ā€¦ let me tell you this- not one single college in America is going to give an offer to a 12yr old. Legally they can’t. You can’t get an OFFICIAL offer until the summer before your junior year. So even if they talked to a coach…

I’ve met a lot of high school coaches & not a single one cares what a kid is ranked or how many stars he has… simply because it’s all BS. These camps or websites will charge a fee for you to come to a camp and get ā€œrankedā€ or get ā€œexposureā€ but literally what for?

Kids get discouraged & down on themselves because they are comparing themselves to people who have literally paid to get ranked. What’s the goal of youth football? Yes you want to win & yes you want to perform. But the goal is to prepare for high school ball.
