Great planning meeting at the Honda Heritage Center yesterday. The Central Ohio Region is coming together to make a big impact in Smart Mobility and I'm excited The Beta District will be a part of it.

As a platform it is still huge and I need to use it to interact and inform for my businesses and causes. I may post in 2024. I am monitoring to see if the platform can be used for value, or whether its algorithm is inherently harmful.

UPDATE: I put an event in my calendar for December 8, to see if after a year I would have changed my mind about “Twitter”. I have not. In the year since I “took a break”, I feel like it has gotten worse.

I don't know how we will communicate in the future, but I see that the giant social media platforms are not our only choice. I've turned off replies for this post.

I may return to posting on Twitter. For now, I will focus on LinkedIn and Instagram. Although I must say, IG is looking a bit shaky recently. I realize that there are other platforms and no platform at all is still a choice.

I am increasingly disturbed by the way this platform influences my message and how it influences how I receive the messages of others. Some time ago I stopped using Facebook for similar reasons. I don't regret that.
