I wont hold this as a criticism of 7 cuz i think the show doesnt treat this as the correct way of thinking necessarily (despite never outright correcting Basara's free spirited nature) but this is more a reflection of hindsight because it took me *awhile* to warm up to 7
I think i ultimately like Basara particulary as he develops but in these early episodes he has his moment where he feels like a pretentious teenager's idea of what a free spirited "true" music artist is lol like bro youre in a band come on ya gotta play ball a *bit*
