3. Underwater near terrain such as shipwrecks or islands, it is extremely effective for traversal below the surface. 4. A niche tip, but you can harpoon objects like crates through the grates of a ship. This can be very useful in galleon pvp if enemies cover your ship's grate.

1. It's max range is roughly 1.5 sloop's lengths, so do with that info what you will. 2. It can be used as an anti-boarder tool. If a player is climbing up your ladder, simply harpoon them while standing at the edge, and they'll be keelhauled instantly.
