We had an amazing Pre-K family event tonight. Almost 30 families gathered to learn about I love you rituals, setting limits at home, and creating calming corners. Families received materials for a calming corner. Thanks to Mrs. Miller and Mrs. Metral for presenting.

We had more than 20 of our incoming Pre-K students and families join us today to learn about Pre-K. We had fun singing, dancing, learning our friends' names, and making hats. Thanks to @FCPSJudyCenter for helping families learn about important places in our school.

Rising K had so much fun with our Pure Play open-ended play today. So much discovery, cooperation, and language!

Today, we had our last @The_Fit_Friends session of the school year! It's always a fun way to build our gross motor skills, practice listening and following directions. Thank you, Ms. Courtney!

We were excited to have over 50 people join us for our Be Ready for Kindergarten breakfast this morning! Families had a chance to learn about how to make sure their child was ready for K in the fall.

Thanks to our 3rd grade buddy class for inviting us to see your butterfly release!

We used cups to build sandcastles and then practiced using positional words to put plastic sea creatures in the right spots. Pre-K loved this activity!

Thanks to all of the families that came to our fine motor event this afternoon. Families had the chance to see and participate in some fun activities to practice fine motor skills!
