Thrilled to host Poppy for afternoon tea as she endured a 'Dip a Day' in April to raise money for the @RNLI via sea swimming. A real credit to her lovely family. I am so proud of you Poppy! A future Mayor? watch this space π #inspirational

Rip currents can quickly drag you into deeper water. To escape a rip, swim or paddle parallel to the shore, not against the current. Or #FloatToLive until help arrives. If you see someone in trouble in the water, call 999 or 112 and ask for the Coastguard. #RipCurrents

Anyone catch @DonaghadeeRNLI coxswain, Philip McNamara, on @BBC's #GreatBritishMenu? Local chef John Hollywood had a chance to try on some of the lifesaving kit that our volunteer crew wear, and get a look at our lifeboat in preparation for this episode. #RNLI #OneCrew

Further crew gave up their Thursday evening and their Friday morning to also complete the training. We are delighted to have a lifeboat back in the harbour and to be back on service and ready for callout if and when we are required. 2/3
