Secondary book markets are great for this. I did this for the entire Enders Game series. Remarkable books. Terribly homophobic author. He didn't see a penny.
Is there an ethical way to purchase a book without supporting the author, like, If I buy it at my local thrift store, will any of that $ go to the author or just directly to the thrift store?
