I like to go back through old transcripts and videos of companies I've invested in. It's interesting to see how much of what was said actually happened. Another great way to see what questions I could have asked back then instead of what I was focusing on.

Great small companies tend to have visionary leaders. Study their track record, not just the company's numbers. If you can find the ones who have done it multiple times, that can be a good place to start.
