I love writing these types of blog posts. Lots of people think the content I write must be techy because Microsoft Teams is technology. But, at the core, it's a business enabler. And that's how you should approach trying to get the most out of Teams.

He's now selling the role with free tea/coffee and a summer party with games on the beach. The candidate has said 3 words in the 20 mins they've been here. I need to leave before I tell her to run for the hills😄.

Overheard in a coffee shop for the third time this month:. "I think you're overqualified and you won't find the role enough of a challenge". Either these recruiters are bad at their job or they need to accept that candidates are accepting lesser roles because of the economy.

The bottom line:. This took YEARS of experience, craft refinement, and pricing strategy. Start with step 1: Define what success means to YOU. Without that clarity, everything else is flawed. Follow @DomKent for more freelance career advice.

Real example:. I create whitepapers for enterprise tech companies. If that asset converts just ONE customer, it's worth $100K/year to them. They know this. I know this. So they're willing to pay $10K for the best version.
