We condemn the violations of privacy of Bushra Bibi at the sub-jail in Bani Gala by Asim-led junta. The sanctity of personal privacy is a fundamental right in international law & in the constitution of Pakistan, yet it’s being blatantly disregarded by the military & its lackeys.

We, the feminists of Pakistan, condemn army's blatant threats to Imran Khan, especially the pejorative patriarchal father reference underpinned by toxic masculinity. Last, military courts are to justice what a brothel is to piety. #AuratMarch2024

We, the feminists of Pakistan, reject the army chief’s decision to give reserved seats to women and religious minorities who’re his lackeys and have no qualifications or credentials to serve the public. Asim Munir does not want educated and progressive women to represent people.

As feminists of Pakistan, we stand in solidarity with Tayyaba Raja and her family, who faced unprecedented levels of harassment, intimidation, and violence from the army and its Punjab police for their courage and resistance to oppression. Stay strong, Tayyaba. We’re with you.

As feminists of Pakistan, we condemn the actions of the woman police officer Shehar Bano Naqvi seen arresting innocent, peaceful PTI protestors in the video. She is also seen vandalizing their car along with her goons. She has shown that she is not a feminist, but a fascist.

You can't claim to be an activist for the freedom of Palestine when you cannot even mention occupied Kashmir, which is also an unfulfilled agenda of partition. Selective activism is not activism, it's hypocrisy.
Poster 5 conveys the artist's hopes for an intersectional resistance across the country and beyond. We are moved by the heartfelt posters- expressions of anger, hope, and the understanding that our liberations are interconnected.

We, the feminists, congratulate Suriya Bibi on her historic election as deputy speaker of KP. We applaud her courage, competence, & commitment to serve people. We thank Imran Khan for recognizing her merit, unlike imposed CM Punjab who rode on military shoulders & stole mandate.

We, the feminists of Pakistan, condemn the outrageous act of illegitimate CM Maryam Safdar who without consent touched a policewoman’s headgear & imposed her will on her. A blatant violation of the policewoman's dignity, autonomy & human rights. We demand an immediate apology.

As feminists, we’re outraged by COAS’s patronizing & sexist gesture towards a woman police officer who only performed her job, like any male officer would. We demand that he apologizes to the woman police officer & faces disciplinary action for his publicity stunt.

Aurat March deserves appreciation for not congratulating Maryam Nawaz, the military's tout, on becoming Punjab's first woman chief minister. @AuratMarch @AuratMarchKHI
In Pakistan, if you’re a victim now - you have to fight two set of people. 1) Your oppressors. 2) The NGO-ised group of intelligentsia having monopoly over defining human rights. You’ve to fight to prove that the abuse you suffered is indeed an abuse.

I would rather not get sympathy of some spoilt brat of a corrupt business man or bureaucrat. Women like you think the world revolves around you. But in reality your just an irrelevant piece of trash.

Charlatans such as Benazir Shah and Munizae Jahangir, who disguise themselves in liberal garb, are quick to extend congratulations to anyone, even a military dictator, if that person provides financial support to their organizations and causes. @Benazir_Shah @MunizaeJahangir

A third-grade junta tout warmly congratulates the junta's civilian face as the Viceroy of Punjab. The vote of no confidence proved instrumental in revealing the true colors of junta supporters concealed beneath the façade of liberalism and democracy.
Congratulations to @MaryamNSharif on becoming the first woman Chief Minister of Punjab. Historic indeed. A promising speech that discussed anti-harassment legislations, protection of minorities, transgender rights & women empowerment. Something we could never have expected from

Aurat March greatly appreciates Maryam Nawaz for shunning her husband by excluding him from attending her oath taking ceremony. Maryam epitomizes strong, independent, hard-working middle class women, who can't be held back due to their husbands. Hail women empowerment!

We condemn the blatant destruction of democracy due to the fragile masculine ego of a person who has sabotaged election processes with an unprecedented mandate theft just to make failed attempt at fulfilling the London Plan, and to stage a dirty maneuver for an extension in 2025.
We condemn the political circus that has erupted due to the fragile masculine ego of a person who has sabotaged democratic processes just to save the perception of his individuality and to stage a dirty manoeuvre for his comeback to power. #NoConfidenceMotion

At Aurat March, we believe in selective feminism – you know, like a trendy buffet where we only address human rights violations if it doesn't clash with our political taste buds. We have adopted a "rights for some, silent applause for others" policy. Hail hypocrisy!

Oh, absolutely! PTI supporters gather weekly in secret 'Misogynists Anonymous' meetings, where they practice evil laughs and exchange tips on how to oppress women. The mere thought of Maryam Nawaz, a hard working, middle class woman, as CM Punjab sends shivers down their spine.
Most PTI supporters are misogynists to the core, so their meltdown over Maryam Nawaz’s nomination as CM Punjab is understandable

And now he has also gotten his wife in jail with him. For how long will Pakistani women suffer for Imran Khan's misogyny? 2/2
