This is not the first time I have seen someone put this out there. Are we kidding? Tua was the best QB this team has had since Marino. The decision to resign him was a huge mistake, but he wasn't a bust at all, much less the biggest one.

Nothing matters until you find a QB. Willis could absolutely be that guy and if anyone knows if he is it’s the two guys running our team.
It would be self-defeating for a Dolphins team trying to get out from under a toxic contract for an underperforming QB (Tua) and clearing talent to address rest of cap to then commit $20M-$25M APY for Malik Willis. Team gonna lose with and without Willis.

Trade: The Miami Dolphins are sending Minkah Fitzpatrick to the New York Jets in exchange for the 2026 seventh-round pick from the Chargers, per ESPN sources. The Jets will sign Fitzpatrick to a three-year, $40 million deal, per his agent Drew Rosenhaus.

A team is down by four, 30 seconds to go. They are on the 25 and it’s 3rd and 15. Instead of trying to go for it on 3rd and 4th down, the QB runs back to the 43 and downs it. Incentivizing not being good at offense is a terrible idea. Kicking should be a bigger part of the game.
