🚨@BHRRC findings on Uganda, drawing on our research. Lake Albert oil project is among the business ventures associated with the highest no. of attacks against human rights defenders over 10 years. It accounts for 1/3 of attacks in Africa - showing a shrinking civic space in 🇺🇬.
🆕 We've recorded over 6,400 attacks against people speaking out against corporate harm in the past 10 years - close to two attacks per day on average. Attacks were reported in relation to almost every business sector and region of the globe over the past decade.
