Non-compliance with EU environmental law cost 180b/year. The @EU_Commission has 300+ cases against EU govts who aren't enforcing envi laws. But infringement procedure happen behind closed doors. We need a transparent enforcement process to ensure scrutiny.

Bottom trawling is wasteful. Harmful. Expensive. You know it. We know it. 250,000+ Europeans know it – and are asking Commissioner @CostasKadis to ban destructive bottom trawling in MPAs. Will decision-makers finally address this issue at the upcoming UN Ocean Conference in June?.

The EU has voted to ban forever chemicals - PFAS - in firefighting foam. PFAS-free foams are already available and in use so to keep using ones with PFAS is unnecessary. But PFAS are everywhere - not just in firefighting foam. Now we need a full ban on all uses.
