I know the new ladder system had some tech issues with MMR adjustments when it first came out, and part of the solution was to limit matching between legend and non-legend, but it does still happen (thanks @schmoopiedaddy), and it seems fine in limited cases. 7/

It would seem better for me, my opponents, and the game in general if I could match into a legend opponent near my MMR in <1 minute instead of someone who finished >4500 last month (or who has never hit legend before at all), after 5-6 minutes. 6/

What bugs me is that while I sat watching the queue wheel spin, I could see people on my friends list, close in MMR to me, matching into legend games. When you are rank-matched (star bonus = 1, not MMR matched), you CAN match against players in legend. Why not also for 11x? 5/

12 games were matched in 30 seconds or less 16 games were matched in 4+ minutes Not all fast matches were "good" (ranks I assume were 11x this month). Most slow matches were "bad" (opponent December rank >700, or repeat opponent) Time of day varied, best times were EST evening 4/

Super late into Wild legend this month. Took @HIJO_HS's Dragon Druid and swapped in Topior for Kazakusan (so I guess it's mine now?). 25-17 on PC -- played a few on mobile, too, but stats probably similar. Deck lets you find a lot of fun ways to win. List below.
