We reflected on progress such as the establishment of ATI desks, while acknowledging persistent barriersβespecially for women, PwDs, and marginalized groups. I underscored that access to information is a vital tool for civic participation and institutional accountability.

Yesterday, I attended the launch of the inaugural national report on the implementation of the Access to Information Act, 2016 held at Sarova Stanley, Nairobi. The report, released by the Commission on Administrative Justice, assessed 139 public institutions across 21 counties.
