I'm trying out pub workspaces these days to remove melos from my monorepo. So far so good, with the exception that when I run test, pub get also runs for some reason. Only happening to me? #flutterdev #dartlang #mobiledevs

Each year I try to learn a new programming language or framework. In 2024, I’m diving into #flutterdev and #dart! 🛠️ Rewriting an android game from Ionic to Flutter - experiencing both pros and cons +1 for dart +1 for Flutter performance -1 Flutter layouts still confuse me 😅

Somehow, I was under the impression that #Angular signals in components with OnPush detection didn't require the usage of the ChangeDetectorRef. But today I had a case today where updating a signal value inside a timeout didn't update the template. Weird...

There are always new ways to improve as a #SoftwareDeveloper. Somehow, I've never released an #opensource thing from scratch before. Until now! While making this thing work, I've learned a ton of things about #npm #GitHub and #nx monorepos. The thing :
npmjs.com
Event sourcing module for NestJS. It provides a set of decorators and classes to build an application based on event sourcing.. Latest version: 4.0.0, last published: 5 months ago. Start using...

I'm looking into #Angular #Signals today and I'm wondering what happens if you return a computed signal from a getter function. It would make sense that the getter is called once. Right?

I've made a greatly needed refresh to my #coding #Spotify playlist. If you're looking for 64 electronic beats for your coding session, look no further :

Hello @opulousapp, is there a way to stake in BNB Chain? or perhaps some way of bridging Opul tokens from BNB to a chain that supports staking?

😂Someone is having fun. The @FTX_Official hacker has been trolling a lot. (screenshot from @rotkiapp) - Creating explicit @ensdomains names trolling @SBF_FTX - Creating expicitly named ERC20 tokens - Sending those tokens around to various people including @VitalikButerin

I spent a week doing some research on #microfrontends and #webpack module federation. And I was so impressed and excited. Now I'm pulling my hair because a remote can't be imported with #TypeScript. Web development ups and downs I guess.

I wonder if there is anyone who bought #Bitcoin at the peak in 2017 at $20k and just checked the price for the first time today, 4.5 years later, only to see the same price.

Testing code is all about increasing confidence, individually and at a team level. If you and your team are more confident writing tests first, write them first. If you're confident writing them after, write them after. If you're confident w/o writing tests, you're being silly.
