The 'sexy CMAT band' are incredible players. Colm was already a legend, the addition of Holly on violin & back vox, as well as a pedal steel guy (whose name escapes me) has been a revelation. Hannah is a powerhouse of a drummer... but the songs!

...so I don't do well in big crowds & this wasn't just a big crowd, it was fucking enormous! But I don't think we'll ever be seeing Ciara play intimate gigs ever again, she's heading for superstardom and stadiums.

Drove up to CMAT in 3Arena last night. Did a full day's work, left home at 4pm, arrived back at 2am. Totally worth it Didn't realise how big the old Point Depot actually was, naively thought I was seeing a gig in somewhere maybe twice the size of the Olympia

Mystery solved! Turns out the “lion” spotted roaming Clare was just a Newfoundland dog with a fresh haircut! Gardaí from Killaloe have concluded that the recent video of a “lion like” animal roaming around the woods in East Clare is in fact the very friendly dog named ‘Mouse’.

Just finished the BBC adaptation of Leonard and Hungry Paul. It got me right in the feels. I'd actually watch a whole series based solely on the Hungry Paul character, loved him to bits & the English actor playing him does a better Irish accent than me!
