@YlvaJohansson If this 7000 people had been “Europeanized” as you spoke about, it wouldn’t have been a peaceful procession, but an angry mob demanding that their blatant abuse end. You should be their voice, not towing the line and turning a blind eye.

@MortazaBehboudi The razor wire of the old Moria came down for certain visitors (including Angelina Jolie and the Pope). After they left new razor wire went up. Special food with tables and chairs appeared for the Pope. It’s an indication that authorities are aware of their own mistreatment.

One of 4 washing machines washing over a ton of clothes and blankets yesterday. And every day. People living in the disgusting conditions of Moria 2 have little water or electricity; no laundries. Grassroots organizations collaborate with Dirty Girls to wash clothes and blankets.

Lesvos: Refugees prepare themselves for flood and winter while EU camp managers are sleeping next to heaters... more than 7000 refugees and migrants are living in the largest EU camp without heaters, not enough showers and sometimes electricity...

The EU throws millions of € at Greece, to top off billions of € already given. 9000 people in Moria 2.0 suffer the effects of rain and wind. This because of criminal negligence, corruption, xenophobia and racism that precludes them from safe and dignified accommodations.

Today is INTERNATIONAL VOLUNTEERS DAY. Dirty Girls thanks over a thousand volunteers ; people who have come from their countries to help people and the environment in Greece. And people who live in the inadequate, unhealthy camps that represent Europe's welcome to refugees.
