It was coded using the Fenix programming language by a solo dev that went by Bomberlink. The most current version of the game is version 5.2, which was released in 2020.

Final Fight would have faded into obscurity (kinda has) if not for its connection to Street Fighter and the progression that came with it, imho. It had one strong game with decent sequels.
Streets of Rage has always stood on its own as a series with a cult following per game.

Beat em ups should be treated like action films.
Have goons jump from the rooftop, hop through windows, crawl up the foreground, and crash bikes. Just walking in from the left and right side of the screen is boring.
Playable characters shouldn't be the only ones active.

So, GI Joe. Fundamentally flawed and has been the case since closed beta. Of course, pointing this out is easy but giving an actual solution to this, not so much.
The game needs a massive overhaul, proper direction and not less emphasis on adding mechanics just to have them.

This update was NEEDED. Arcade feels fresh, especially on Mania+ mode. Retros feel better to play and have alternate palettes. This game feels complete now!
