the controller would only be detected on Windows if it was already plugged in from a warm/cold boot, but Windows will refuse to detect (or even charge) the controller once it's unplugged until I restart the PC.

Now my PC won't even detect my PS5 controllers (USB) unless it's on anything BUT Windows 11. It will only receive power if it's on Linux or the goddamn BIOS settings of all places (wtf???).
