By "stitch up" I think he means that the guy was there to provoke an incident, and have it filmed. He did provoke an incident, a physical assault, by simply holding a banner stating a fact. There was a simple way to avoid this incident... Respect his right to hold the banner!

There's big big trouble ahead. And all parties and leaders are sleepwalking us into it.
They shouldn't be surprised when it all kicks off big time. The thing about the "tipping point" is, it's impossible to predict.
But IT'S THERE! And you don't have enough police.
@MartinDaubney
@GBNEWS
Maybe the French police should be prosecuted for not intervening and doing the job WE are paying them hundreds of millions to do?
5 dead this morning as over 100 people were seen on one dinghy
“I’m going to move back & show you this policing operation”
The camera shows the gendarmes stood idly by doing absolutely nothing.
Since 2018, the French have had £220 million to stop this & last year, Sunak…

Wow...really?!
I suppose these Turkish barbers aren't actually Turkish either?
Next you'll be telling us that hand car washes and nail bars are crime fronts too.
@alexharmstrong
They're only 6.5% of the population at the moment, and already they're taking over the streets with protest, preaching and praying like the nonsense below. Imagine when it's 20% and 50%. It needs to STOP. And it needs to stop NOW!
USING ISLAM TO BATTLE ISLAMOPHOBIA
Muslims in Birmingham held a special street iftar to showcase the real Islam amid widespread Islamophobic rhetoric being spewed by the British media and political establishment.
5Pillars attended the event to see local Muslims fighting ugly…

There hasn't been "serious disorder" because you've failed to arrest most of the hundreds (if not thousands) of protesters committing numerous crimes. Instead, you'll go after the single bloke with the union flag. This approach might be expedient, but apart from being...

I've been predicting civil war for years.
With the environment successive governments have wilfully allowed to develop, it's now inevitable.
Shame on them as they watch the fruits of their mismanagement from their ivory towers.

This is a pot about to boil, while police and the government watch on. How much more can we take? This is highly offensive to the British public.

There shouldn't be any police group based on race or religion. It segregates people. They're there to enforce the law. Their race, religion etc. should have nothing to do with it.

Proves even more now that we were right to leave the EU. Brussels, the centre of European democracy...NOT!
The philosophy seems to be, if you can't win the argument through rational debate, send the bully boys in.

Many people are greatly concerned that this foreign conflict is being played out on UK streets. It's got nothing to do with us.

Especially now that face coverings are (kind of) banned.

I know someone who works in this dept in Birmingham. It's criminal, and very hard for staff to go along with. Housing stock is held back from UK nationals and reserved for immigrants. No wonder they're risking their lives in the channel.

Integration into our culture is crucial, otherwise we don't have a culture. We just have lots of separate cultures living in the same country, separately, disagreeing with each other. It's a recipe for disaster. And this is proving to be the case.
@IncMonocle
@Nigel_Farage
Sorry, I think my comments were badly worded. My point is that simply holding that banner should NOT have provoked an attack, but it did.
@GBNEWS
This is a ridiculous bogus made up story, presumably designed to get people irate.
I'm a GB News fan, but it's disappointing to see them trot out a story like this.
The law they refer to simply states that you're supposed to concentrate on driving, It doesnt mention Christmas..
@MikeSouthWestUK
The Labour (Muslim) candidate would have won, as Labour pander to Muslims and depend on their vote; only he was outed as a colossal Oct 7th denier. In steps colossal carpetbagger George Galloway to suck up to the Muslims and pander to their No1 priority; Gaza.
Not Rochdale.
@RonEng1ish
Many many people and groups of people have not come here because they like the climate, the culture or the people, and have absolutely no intention of integrating to any extent. Instead, they retain their own culture almost in its entirety, and seek to spread that culture.

Only 15% of new car sales are EVs, and 80% of those are fleet/business sales. So only 3% are EVs sold to private buyers. For whatever reason, EVs just don't appeal yet. Having no driveway is going to be a difficult one to overcome.
@NickBuckleyMBE
I don't know the guy, but I listened to a tribute to him on R4 earlier, and my initial impression is that he only got so much recognition because of his ethnicity. The few "poems" he read sounded like they'd been written by a child. He doesn't sound like he was born in Birmingham

It's already starting to kick off in many European countries, so it's no longer a theory.
It's merely a question of how fast it escalates.
It's already got to a point that I had previously thought was years off.

It's amazing how many young people are jealous of people who've worked 40-50 years building everything you see around you, only to get a £10 grand pension.

If twitter comments are anything to go by, the Muslim monument idea has gone down like a high density turd balloon. Not sure what that tells us?
@UKAndNIasOne
Obviously they've waved them through, otherwise they'd be bragging about the number of "removals", which they're not.

This will be music to the traffickers ears.

Tory MP Christopher Chope tried to get a bill passed to investigate vaccine injury and compensate victims properly. It got squashed by parliamentary process. A travesty. Disgraceful attempt to silence and sideline hideously injured vaccine victims. It'll all come out one day.

There's no such thing as Islamophobia. It's a made up word used to describe a bogus concept. Simply not liking or agreeing with a religion, isn't a phobia. Surely, our intelligent and educated MPs must know that?
The term Islamophobia was first popularised by the violent extremist Muslim Brotherhood as "an ideological weapon to silence critics" of Islam and to "criminalise any criticism of their religious and political beliefs".
The term was then (naively?) popularised in the UK by…
@GBNEWS
Quite. Terms like "racist" and "Islamophobic" (and many others) are thrown around all over the place, when they're not applicable, as a tool to shut down debate.

Just like the Royal Navy. £7.6billion for an aircraft carrier we can't deploy because we don't have the crew. A bit like nightingale hospitals we couldn't staff.

The Irish have been hammered by immigration because their population is so small to start with. No wonder they're up in arms. The same will happen in Britain once the numbers get high enough. The tipping point is not far away.

My friend works in the council dept that allocates housing, and huge amounts are being held back just for migrants.

The key phrase that stands out there is...
"LARGE MUSLIM COMMUNITIES".
That just about says it all. They're separate from the rest of community. They're like a society within a society. Taking over large sections of towns and cities. And that's through choice. Their choice.

"Commissioner defends officers after a weekend where too many were injured or faced abuse".
Injured and abused by "mostly peaceful" protesters that is.

I've had extensive exposure to the NHS over many years. Whilst we tend to glorify it, it does have extensive problems both with management and staff. Until we acknowledge that, it won't improve.

They're not just occupying hotels (which is bad enough), some are being put up in private rented houses, thus making those houses unavailable to UK residents. And, because they're classed as minors, (which they're clearly not), they have full time live in "carers".
It's a farce.

It always surprises me that anyone buys the "malnutrition" story, when the parents, and everyone around, including the other children, look week fed, well dressed, with clean faces, and neat haircuts. The electricity is always on, and mobile phones still have signal.
