Perhaps but 16 teams cannot happen this time since the league is gonna start late, if there are 16 the league will end in June/July. A very good football calendar needs to be prepared considering all the international windows(U-23) or it's gonna be a mess.
Been thinking about this, could a 16-team league might have been a better idea than 14 teams? Would have ensured 30 league games per team, followed by playoffs We could have even adopted a similar system for relegation, bottom two go down while third-last plays a pro-rel playoff
