As for the HRG, it was the marque of car that Ken loved most, and two of his former cars are going to be at Prescott this weekend, and I'll be there with the three generations following on from Ken.

This is my industrial heritage and although the engineering gene has clearly skipped a generation, I'm very proud that Dellow enthusiasts are still out there maintaining their cars and competing in gruelling hillclimbs and trials, something the Dellow excelled at.

Both creators of the Dellow can be seen in this video: Ken Delingpole (my grandfather) and Ron Lowe, who was the Works Director at his West Midlands nut & bolt factory, Delson.

This weekend I'm taking my father back to Prescott (Vintage Hill Climb) where we are to be guests of the HRG owners club. There will also be Dellows there, the car that bears part of the family name.
