Memo sent this morning appointed Rep. John Lively, D-Springfield, to replace Rep. Paul Evans, D-Monmouth, on the transportation committee. Evans told me earlier this week that he asked to be removed, frustrated with not being invited to participate in latest negotiations. #orleg.

It was a late night in the Oregon House last night. Two gun bills were scheduled for a vote. One of them, Senate Bill 243, was passed and sent back to the Senate for concurrence. The second, House Bill 3076, was killed. #orleg More details:

Senate Bill 243 would criminalize possession of rapid-fire activators and returns to the Senate for another vote because it was amended in the House.
