Fallout is such a funny series, no one at Bethesda or even the original creator seem to care about preserving the lore and see each game as isolated universe, despite so much of the fan base being immensely invested in game to game events and how it all interconnects.

Durability is a such an interesting example of an excellent concept in terms of game design that allows for a variety of interesting weapons or gear that can be easily balanced. But also gamers hate it with a passion.
