Most AI video tools are needy. You have to feed them hours of footage, wait a day for them to "learn" your face, and *then* maybe you can make a video. We don't have that kind of patience. Descript’s new video features run on "zero-shot" generation. In English: it works

@iamjasonlevin @andrewmason @DescriptApp It's actually very good too. They give you model choice. Opus 4.5 and Gemini 3 both do a very good job. Same goes for video generation. You get your pick of SOTA models, set the dimensions, etc. @DescriptApp is crushing it.
