An absolute treat to spend this morning with my family at the @Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City! While it was busy at times, the crowd lit up when every balloon floated by for a wonderful holiday atmosphere! Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

That processes uses the RCS on the ROS to control the station, which is refueled using the Progress spacecraft. There is no passthrough from USOS ports to the ROS’ fuel tanks. No international vehicles are currently compatible with the SSVP docking system on that side.

This has some pretty major threats to sustaining ISS operations if the damage is as severe as it looks. While reboost and general control can be done by visiting vehicles on the USOS, the ROS is responsible for desaturating the station’s gyroscopes.
According to unconfirmed rumors, after today's #SoyuzMS28 launch, an emergency occurred at Pad 31: part of the launch facility, the maintenance cabin, located under the rocket, was damaged. Roscosmos has not yet commented on these rumors, I also have no additional information.

Artemis III will be the final Block 1 core, with IV being the first Block 1B. The changes to the core are minor, with most of it being avionics being updated and removed as the whole stack will be flown by the EUS, rather than operating independently like the CS and ICPS do now.

The combined tanks will then be shipped to KSC for integration with the engine section. This is expected to take place some time in early 2026, with the stage being moved into the High Bay 2 assembly area. Artemis IIs core stage was briefly stored there during SRB stacking.

Artemis IIIs SLS core stage is coming together! The Forward Join was started two and a half weeks ago with the LOX tank being integrated with the intertank. Next the forward skirt will be added before the entire structure will be joined with the LH2 tank.

This has a very interesting side effect for Atlas V. All of the Starliner rockets are already built, so it seems that we may end up with a museum vehicle after all!
NASA is modifying its commercial crew contract with Boeing to cover four flights, rather than six; the first will be cargo-only. From an emailed NASA statement:

I'm really not sure if this past week or so can get better for Blue Origin? NG-2 deploys escapade, Tail 2 lands and comes back to CCSFS, Blue Ring flight vehicle and now Blue Moon flight vehicle.
The Blue Moon MK1 flight vehicle that will land near Shackleton crater. We’ll soon be doing fully integrated checkout tests. At over 26 feet tall (8 meters), it’s smaller than our MK2 human lander but larger than the historic Apollo lander.

This is the problem when you normalize failure to the extreme we have seen recently--suddenly every failure is "iteration" and "more data" which becomes a cop-out for "we were rushing and got sloppy". Time for introspection New Glenn just sent a payload to Mars on flight 2

If the QC isn't good enough to keep Booster 18 intact during cryo testing, how are you ever going to reuse a Starship covered with a bajillion tiles and have faith it can rapidly transport anything (let alone humans) on a short turnaround This isn't a case of "this is why we
