With fall practice now over, here are three questions I'm looking at for Kentucky baseball in 2026.

It's impossible for national writers to know everything about every single program. That's not a standard I expect. But this "you all are screwed if you fire the coach who's already doing terrible because you're Kentucky" is such a loser take.

Hilarious Kentucky take from a national writer. Saying UK will be sentencing itself to a "curse of mediocrity" if it fires the coach currently on a 10-game SEC home losing streak and hasn't shown he can put together good teams in the new era. Could very well go 0-8 in the SEC.

Three runs for Morehead State in the top of the 4th to take its first lead of the day. Will Coleman walked the first three batters he faced. Couple of balls put in play that could've been outs, but were not. Morehead 4, Kentucky 3 in B4.

The first portion of the scrimmage is now complete. The Wildcats won 6-5. The final seven innings will begin at 3:42.

Kentucky will still hit in the bottom of the frame, but the score was 6-5 after 6.5 innings. Jack Bennett got the final three outs for the Cats.

Kentucky had runners on first and second with one out, but Jenkins and Lawrence struck out to end the threat. 6-5 UK after five innings. Jenkins is now in at catcher.

A two-out throwing error from Tyler Bell from in the hole at SS prolonged the inning, and Morehead State has taken advantage. Three straight hits have made it 6-5. Jackson Soucie is now in for the Wildcats.

Kentucky added two more runs in the fourth to make it 6-1. Mattison still on the mound. He's retired the first four batters he's faced.
