I've gotten incredibly annoyed with the fans that cannot take a shred of criticism directed at their favorite football team.
They botched this investigation they claimed they had. You can tell by McDermott's post game presser. It is okay to admit the team didn't do it right.
Bills fans, how about this? I'll take back the word "stain" on the franchise and I'll call it an embarrassing situation that was mishandled from the moment the accuser's attorney made it known to them that trouble was coming. If you don't agree with that, then I'm befuddled.
@DerekKramer49
I definitely don't think they did it right. But I also don't think it's as cut and dry as some make it. I think we all have the benefit of hindsight, while not knowing the extent of what they knew before the article was published. They should've gotten out in front of it, though.
@KyleTheRacinFan
True. While they eventually got to the right place, mistakes get made along the way. And it isn't cut and dry since we don't know what exactly they know and likely never will.

@BruceExclusive
Im proud of this team for getting to the right decision. It may have taken longer than it we wanted it to but ultimately what should have happened, happened. Sometimes you make mistakes, how you respond to the mistakes is sometimes more important than making the mistake.
@Michael01757461
Moving on is fine and it's great that we finally can. But it is also okay to hold the team accountable and people don't need to be going after reporters all weekend because they asked what needed to be asked.
@DerekKramer49
Its usually by people who have
#MAGA
in their profiles who also can't handle a lick of criticism when it comes to their political leanings.
@DerekKramer49
Apply this more broadly. there is a certain group of people in this country that can’t take a single shred of constructive criticism at all.
@DerekKramer49
I haven’t seen a whole lot of people that can’t admit the Bills bungled the whole situation/didn’t take the allegations seriously at the start but I’m probably not looking hard enough lol. Fans are tribalist.
@DerekKramer49
There are levels to criticism. An opinion that the Bills initial messaging and vetting was botched would probably be nearly universally agreed upon. The pushback came with hyperbolic statements like what Sal initially put forth with regard to this being a "stain" on the org.
@PChase814
For sure. A lot of the fans in the comments here are saying both are true, appreciate all of you.
But the fans hassling reporters over the past few days have had my blood boiling.
@DerekKramer49
@zvaughn2712
The team literally admitted they made errors. They are human, it’s ok to make mistakes. They owned it. They did the right thing. Now they will get a home native Pro Bowl kicker. Can we move on to SB talk!!!
@DerekKramer49
I don't understand that if there were hints of this issue before the draft, some teams knew, most didn't, but not a single reporter that is now crucifying the Bills found their way to look into the story.
