In the margins of #WSF2025, also met with Deputy Foreign Minister @RKupiecki of #Poland 🇵🇱, we spoke about our response to Russian airspace violations, Eastern Sentry and boosting #NATO’s deterrence and defence on the eastern flank even further.

Spoke with State Secretary for National Defence of #Poland @CTomczyk 🇵🇱 We discussed the recent launch of Eastern Sentry, the importance of increased defence spending & our ongoing support for #Ukraine

Met with Deputy Minister @o_shym 🇺🇦 at the Warsaw Security Forum #WSF2025 – important to harness the unique expertise of Ukraine’s brave veterans. #NATO’s support to Ukraine remains unwavering, including through our Joint Analysis, Training and Education centre.

Delighted to speak at the opening of the Sarajevo Security Conference – it feels like coming home, to a region that will forever be close to my heart. #NATO’s partnership with Bosnia and Herzegovina is robust & our commitment to stability here & in the wider region is firm.

Glad to meet again with @OHR_BiH High Representative Schmidt. We compared notes on the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina 🇧🇦. I reiterated #NATO’s support for the work of the High Representative Office.

Glad to meet with Maj Gen Florin-Marian Barbu, Commander of EUFOR-Althea. #NATO-#EU cooperation is essential for regional stability. Great to see it in action here in 🇧🇦. We continue to support EUFOR Althea under the Berlin Plus Arrangements.

It was a pleasure meeting with ambassadors of Allied countries in Sarajevo. We are all united in supporting Bosnia and Herzegovina 🇧🇦 build a better and more stable future for all its citizens.

It is important that we continue to contribute to the understanding of how #NATO works, including its cooperation with partners & how Allies consult, build consensus & make decisions.

As usual, it was inspirational to exchange with 🇧🇦 students participating in @NATO_ACT’s Model #NATO Simulation. My advice to you is to not be afraid to speak up and engage: you are the future of this beautiful country. They are lucky to have you!
