That's why even though I don't feel as connected to HER fight, it's swaying my attention back. That's probably one of the great things about their war. It and her keeps reminding you that THIS is what's most important right now, whether you agree or not.

While I don't feel as connected to this being Yoru's fight, I appreciate her sincerity in it. Fighting Chainsaw Man is about her and her alone. Not Denji, nor Asa, or the world means a thing in her eyes. She wants to see herself win for own satisfaction

I also really like Yoru accepting what war really is to defeat Pochita. Sacrificing others and countries is the very essence of it. Though all that mess about bonds is rich coming from her 🤣

Lowkey don't care all that much about Yoru vs Chainsaw Man, but this is genuinely some the best action we've gotten in part 2. Fujimoto's really trying his best to make this as cool as possible

I'd like to believe this is more than a fairy-tale ending. Things worked out because it was actually possible. The fact that they can still be themselves and smile like this makes me feel 1000000% certain this is only the beginning for them.

What's so touching about these two Denji and Reze illustrations is that thing's don't fall apart immediately. He gets to give her the flowers, they managed to escape to somewhere safe, and eventually... they happily began highschool together 🥹

With Tatsuki Fujimoto being one of the first, I hope we get to see more Oneshots like his adapted in this format. Not only would we get to see more talented directors like Seishirou Nagaya, but it'd be great for the medium as a whole. Countless other amazing stories to adapt!

I honestly can't remember if I've ever seen it happen with a manga adaption, but that's my favorite thing about anime anthologies. Directors/staff usually get a lot more freedom to express themselves.

What I absolutely love to death about Denji's character is his ability to look past the worst in someone and find a way to connect with them. Not in a way that justifies who they are or what they've done, but in manner that reminds you... you're not alone (Asa)

I feel like this is a good conclusion to reach to with Denji's character. There's still many things within him he refuses or struggles to change, but despite that, he's still willing to reach out his hand to others in need.

Denji's still the same, but he really has grown so much as a person.
