Six years ago Julian Assange was dragged from the Ecuadorean embassy and locked up in London’s notorious Belmarsh prison, where he spent 1,901 days in grim conditions. Thankfully he is now safe & free, but we must never forget the UK’s role, as this could so easily happen again.
