3/ When we first started the Franklin program, the ultimate goal was not just to pair up cyber volunteers with every small and rural water system in America, but to pair volunteers with systems near and dear to their hearts.

2/ Last week, during an introductory call between our Franklin cyber volunteer and a new participating utility, we learned that they live just 30 minutes apart. Our volunteer’s mother even taught in the very same school district where the operator attended school and now works.
