It has come to my attention that the average college football fan doesn’t know that player awards like Biletnikoff, Doak, & Heisman are awarded BEFORE the playoffs. The amount of comments today about Jeremiah Smith being robbed of the Biletnikoff last year are insane 😂.

If the goal is to get more parity & data points everyone should move to 8, not 9 conference games. More OOC games are a net positive for the sport, especially given how much discrepancy there can be in schedules for conferences with 16-18 teams. (ex: Wisco vs Maryland schedule).

Well they're not doing a very good job at that then. Per SP+ & KFord, Indiana has a weaker schedule than all 16 SEC teams. The 8 vs 9 team conference schedule talk is a mirage. Their schedule also ranks as the 13th & 15th hardest in the B1G per SP+ & KFord respectively.
