The truth is, war makes very rich people even richer. @realDonaldTrump, though he claimed during his 2024 campaign to be the President of “no wars”, very clearly wants to go to war. Why would he change the #DepartmentOfDefense to the #DepartmentOfWar if he wasn’t?

This tactic has been used before by the #Republicans to justify going to war. After the 9/11 terrorist attacks, WMD’s were supposedly in Iraq, which was used to justify the American invasion there.

Further, most research shows that the majority of Fentanyl smuggled into the U.S. from other countries is done by American citizens, but that doesn’t fit the @realDonaldTrump Administration’s racist narrative.

Countries aren’t purposely using Fentanyl to harm Americans, especially not by way of undocumented immigrants, as the @realDonaldTrump Administration perpetuates.

WMD’s are usually dangers that would be used by countries to cause large-scale harm to another, like nuclear weapons, missiles, or biological weapons (like Anthrax or viruses). But Fentanyl isn’t any of that, it’s a drug that too many Americans are, unfortunately, addicted to.

Yes, Fentanyl is a PROBLEM in America. Close to 48,000 American citizens last year died because of the drug - a 27% drop from the year before & nowhere near the “200,000 to 300,000” @realDonaldTrump claimed, as he declared the drug a #WeaponofMassDestruction or WMD.

Fentanyl isn’t a “Weapon of Mass Destruction”, it’s an excuse to go to war. We’ve done this before as a country. Idk how you can equate smugglers meeting market demand & selling something illegal to someone who wants to buy it as an act of war.
