@DecepticonCobra Spartan ops was a great idea, but it was executed poorly. If 343 would fix the mistakes, SpOps could be great for Infinite’s MP story.

@DecepticonCobra I've already been hit with "It was removed because people criticized it too harshly" and "Come on we can do better than a button pushing simulator" under the same tweet. It's exhausting that people aren't willing to believe two things to be true at once.

@DecepticonCobra True, by comparison to Infinite's "seasonal narrative" so far, SpOps is good (or at least, it does a lot more that is of narrative consequence and gives players a means of playing PvE out of campaign) But this is a case of one bad thing being better than an even worse thing IMO.

@DecepticonCobra @Rookie_425 I think Spops biggest downfall was the over budget focus on the SPECTACULAR cutscenes. Perhaps if the budget was balanced more, we may have gotten less cinematic movies, more… Infinite/RvB style cutscenes and better levels.

@DecepticonCobra It was a great concept executed poorly. I'd love if they tried to do something like it again. Because this np narrative is so shallow just giving arbitrary context to training simulations. I'd like to actually get sent on missions to deal with Banished forces with a team.

@DecepticonCobra A Spartan Ops with an actual budget and not reusing the same few multiplayer maps would be so insanely cool and is something I’ve been wanting for years now. I’ve always enjoyed the original one and hated that they killed it like they did, and all this shit had me wanting it more

@DecepticonCobra Spartan Ops was a cool concept that was poorly executed with bad mission design (had some cool cutscenes tho), would love for Infinite to try and redo it with our Spartan involved in the conflict.

@DecepticonCobra Spartan Ops was a head of its time strikes which are a big part of Destiny PVE are essentially Spartan Ops missions and you get two a dlc. Spartan Ops gave you tons more. And early on in D2 strikes were just story missions.
