Last week was very warm.It's well know that nurses uniforms are very heavy. I did see ANY unions issuing advice or support. Time nurses were supported to be enabled to wear a lighter uniform on hot days. My colleague s manager was fussing about uniforms on Friday. seriously.

That I could wear the nurse dress on a very hot day but would still have to wear tights .Because "uniform policy ".Why ?.What it's the rationale?.The double blind research?.Ipc ? Don't buy it .Legs can be wiped down ya know.

Of course this director is wearing a beautiful floaty dress and bare legs. Whilst my colleague got pulled for wearing trainer socks. On a roasting day . It baffles Me that nurses in some areas can't wear polo shirts. Unions need to be addressing this .Had one senior tell me.
