For esophagal cancer surgery there is a chance i would lose my voice box entirely and not be able to talk. Its a heavy price to pay if it comes to that. They cut the esphogus/stomach out and stretch your intenstines into a makeshift esphagus. I will have to wait to see if surgery.

Only a few days until the ballet in Drumheller, and my sister just can't decide if shes making the trip or not. I hope she does. Its hard to plan something when people are uncommittal. I hope her ticket doesn't go to waste. I hate being wasteful lol.

I have a meeting in August about chemo and radiation. I expect I will be starting a few weeks of daily treatments in late August. Surgery is still being considered if they think its safe to do. I'm optimistic I can beat this, but statistically its a tough one.
