Feel like the ideology here is split and tends positive (most of my students are the good kind of woke), the real consequence of the phones is just that they're distractable half-literate basket cases.
I think one of the better millennial delusions is that kids being on their phones all day is going to turn them into epic pro Palestinian queer leftists, when in reality they mostly become groypers.
