Today we announced Idaho’s Digital Equity Capacity award, which gives the state $6.3M to teach cybersecurity and digital skills training, provide technical support and devices, and more. Congratulations to Idaho!

Today @NTIAgov announced four more approved BEAD Initial Proposals. These great plans by GA, IA, MN, and SC build on the 100s of thousands of homes already connected by the Administration’s broadband programs.

Today we approved BEAD Initial Proposals for Georgia, Iowa, Minnesota, and South Carolina, allowing them to request more than $2.9b in #InternetforAll funding combined. Congratulations to these states for their hard work!

Getting everyone online requires accurate data. That is why I am so pleased to announce Project LEIA (Local Estimates of Internet Adoption): a joint effort between @NTIAgov and @uscensusbureau to develop more precise estimates of Internet adoption in smaller areas of the country.
