As a coda to the story: in May of 2005 I was sitting in a theater for the employee screening of Ep3, almost 20 years ago. George walks in and sits in the row behind me. “Hey Robin.”.“Hi George!”. They were buddies. I couldn’t help but overhear and grin as they sat and caught up.

Raphael brought exactly what George was looking for, and he recorded the entire role in four-hours! We were a bit rushed at the end and I flew to NZ right after. I regret that we didn’t spend more time in the studio together. I was too young to know how to ask for more time.

#StarWarsRepublicCommando might be my favorite game dev experience of all time. I started in December of 2002 as the game's "Audio Lead." I was to head up all sound, music and voice-over efforts. "You're responsible for everything that comes out of the speakers." I was 27.
