A few nice days this week enabled me to cut & feed the square and cut & roll the outfield ahead of Sunday’s grass hockey @BurntAshHC. Also, CJC started painting the sightscreens @BexleyCC (big thanks to Stanley Wells). Weather-permitting, hope to start PSR next week. #infront

Busy couple of days @BexleyCC. Cut and rolled the hockey pitch for Boxing Day, managed to cut the square after Pro-Cord 12 days ago by @ianajordan, followed by two bags of iron from @AvoncropJamie. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, especially fellow groundsmen and groundstaff!

Great conditions @BexleyCC this week to cut the outfield & give the square its first cut, 5 weeks after renovations by @ianajordan. Given the amount of rain, very happy with the growth & lack of worm casts. Applied two bags of fertiliser to strengthen the sward. #warmerthanapril

Productive week @BexleyCC ahead of the first friendlies of the season. Outfield cut and picking up nicely after being fed eight days ago. Square brushed/cut and wickets ready for weekend games. Tough conditions with heavy wind and showers but managed to crack on. #alwaysawindow

Great week at @BexleyCC, ideal conditions for an outfield cut, nets brushed, rolled and applied sand to bowlers’ run-ups. Square cut and 3/4 the way through pre-season rolling. Ground drying out nicely after a very wet winter. #GroundsWeek #happywithit
