Kinda crazy how we live in a culture that craves authenticity but also feels the need to filter and photoshop pictures before posting. It’s like we crave authenticity…as long as it puts us in the best light.

Comparison is dangerous because it persuades you to dilute the gift God gave you and make it palatable for an audience that isn’t yours.

What I’ve learned as a pastor over the last few years:. 1. Church growth is a function of church health—mentally, spiritually, emotionally. If it’s healthy, it will grow. 2. Staff/Team unity is a byproduct of trust. It’s hard to be unified when you don’t trust each other.

Don’t be in such a hurry to “win” that you mismanage the assignment. Helping people on your faith journey to victory is a win within the win.
