Connelly Early is flying under most prospect radar, at least nationally, but that is likely to change. The lefty has a future in a big-league rotation.
An excellent outing from Connelly Early tonight in Worcester: .Six innings, 10 Ks (a new season high), 19 (!!) swings and misses including 11 on his fastball, no walks. 92 pitches/61 strikes. One run that scored due to a misplay in the outfield. He was REALLY good.

The Dodgers right-hander is much the same pitcher he was before Tommy John surgery, but not exactly.
