Just finished “Love Johnny Carson” by @mmalkoff and David Ritz. Heard Mark on the @mikeroweworks podcast. Great discussion and the book was top notch too. Brought back so many good memories of a comedy and communication icon.

Just wrapped “My Father Martin Dihigo - The Immortal” A rather unique and captivating biography of the greatest Cuban baseball player and early defender of player’s rights. Shout out to @nlbmprez for the great recommendation.

Just finished the outstanding “72 Stories From the Baseball Collection of Geddy Lee”. @rushtheband Heard about it from @nlbmprez Black Diamonds podcast. Geddy’s book and Bob’s podcast - two big winners.

36 days until @Mets spring training. Can’t wait, but needed to take a Mets baseball break. Just finished two very enlightening and poignant biographies: “Booker T Washington: Up From Slavery” and “Hank Greenberg: The Hero Who Didn’t Want to Be One.”

Just finished “Hurdle-isms” by @ClintHurdle13 - a “home run” of a book filled with life lessons that generate positive reflection and warm feelings on a cold late winter day.

By far the worst customer experience I have ever encountered comes from @Verizon. 18+ year customer and their support is less than one-star. Missed callbacks, broken promises on billing adjustments and total lack of respect for the customer

Just finished “Baseball’s Leading Lady” by @AndreaWillWrite The story of Effa Manley - and a fantastic look into an important part of history - Negro League Baseball. Great read from cover to cover.

The Rangers PP gets so much love (and rightly so), but right now the PK may be even more impressive. Their special teams have been nothing short of remarkable.

Just finished @JPosnanski “Why We Love Baseball.” The number 29 moment - Joe Carter’s walk off call is perfect for this book - you “touched ‘em all, Joe.” A great book with so many memories for me. It’s why I eat, live and breathe Baseball.
