Determined to get @HeathrowAirport to honestly report the sustainability performance of its airlines, not the mathematically-impossible Fly Quieter table.

Six years old, and you can't find a photo of it. Why is that, @flightradar24 ? Ruud would not be impressed. 😀

Two more weeks to catch @CamilleUcan and co-conspirators in her hilarious (and deliciously rude) "Three Hens in a Boat" (well OK, in a skiff) at the equally wonderful @ReadingRep.

@HeathrowRunways @waltononthames Holidaying in Walton-on-Thames? Be sure to take your phrasebook. Waltonian: @Qantas tracking violation over @waltononthames exploiting a gap in noise monitoring Translation: @Qantas bang on track, nowhere near @waltononthames, directly overflying the Chertsey noise monitor

"Violation upon violation by @HeathrowRunways @flysrilankan over @waltononthames. Webtrak will show this on track." Yawn. Yes - WebTrak/NATS, FlightRadar24, FlightAware, independent monitoring and every other tracker - except for the one in Walton-on-Thames's parallel universe.

Any volunteers to teach our vexatious Waltonites a bit of aircraft recognition?

From @HeathrowAirport's latest Noise Action Plan: "Programmes such as Fly Quiet have been very effective at encouraging airlines to work with us on improving their noise and flight track performance" Sorry Heathrow, but you can't fiddle the stats and then claim that they work.

@Grumpalot1 @HeathrowRunways "This flight was over @waltononthames certainly not over Weybridge as Webtrak shows it!" And as independent monitoring, FlightRadar24, FlightAware and every other tracker show it ... Didn't your parents teach you not to tell lies?

@Grumpalot1 @HeathrowRunways @SingaporeAir @etihad More nonsense tonight from our delusional friend. "@SingaporeAir vectored off SID barely scraping 4000 feet". No, not vectored off the SID, in fact left it at over 5000 feet. Could someone buy the lady a dictionary for Christmas so that she can look up the word "credibility" ?

@Grumpalot1 @HeathrowRunways "Check out the tracking infringement of @SingaporeAir and @etihad below 4000 feet outside SID as it departs", says our Walton friend. Well OK, if you insist, and guess what - both stayed on the SID to 5000 ft (Singapore) and 6000 ft (Etihad). Stop making stuff up, please.

So will @HeathrowAirport's new NAP see an end to its cynical manipulation of the sustainability stats, where the worst airline for Noise Quota (Korean Air), that the rules give 0 points, instead gets awarded nearly one-third of the maximum possible ? I'm not holding my breath ..

@Grumpalot1 @HeathrowRunways @HeathrowATC @waltononthames BA059 "outside the SID" tonight, according to our myopic Walton friends:

@HeathrowAirport But we can relax - Fly Quiet & Green is now rebranded as Fly Quieter & Greener. Which is deliciously ironic, given that the scheme is deliberately not designed to show whether any aspect of a given airline's environmental performance has improved or worsened quarter-on-quarter.

@HeathrowAirport Confused? That's Heathrow's aim. A simple example: SAS tops the latest table with a score of 969. How many of those 969 derive from, say, SAS's track-keeping performance? Heathrow daren't say - breaking down the scores would make the whole table fall apart like a trick cigar.

"transparent data about airlines that use the airport" Anyone have a dictionary handy? If so, could they explain to @HeathrowAirport that awarding an arbitrary bunch of points to an airline but refusing to say how many came from each metric is the very opposite of transparency.

Not a good year for the kids at @egis's Helios division. Fresh from screwing up the analysis of @Gatwick_Airport's Night Noise trial, including flights that didn't qualify, now helping @HeathrowAirport relaunch the discredited Fly Quiet scheme featuring secrecy and flaky maths.

@Grumpalot1 @HeathrowRunways @HeathrowATC @waltononthames Q. Ever wondered why our Walton friends turn off the altitude panels on WebTrak when they display screenshots? A. So that they can get away with outrageously false claims like (in this case) "vectoring off the SID barely scraping 4000 feet exploiting a gap in noise monitoring".

@Grumpalot1 @SingaporeAir @HeathrowRunways @HeathrowATC Our Walton friends have really got it in for Singapore Airlines - and as usual, not letting the facts get in the way of a good story: "@SingaporeAir too low to have adhered to SID until 4000 feet exploiting a gap in noise monitoring" Wrong on pretty well every count.
