Pendulum at Milton Keynes Bowl - sensational gig in front of 65,000 people. Delighted I managed to catch a gig at that iconic venue.

Cloud dodging on the English south coast. A brief visit to take in Pendulum’s largest live show next weekend & then a decent stint back in Georgia. Excited to return to Sakartvelo.

Second visit to Wrocław and it has blown me away again. Not only incredibly beautiful historically, but it has a real soul - lots of live music events happening everywhere, street markets, & food festivals etc. It was European Capital of Culture in 2016 & you can see why.

Cracovia 2 - 0 Bruk-Bet Termalica Nieciecza. First match of the 2025/26 season and my first taste of Polish football. Strong vocal support from the home team throughout, no pyro though & a straight forward win. Noted Cracovia have a Georgian captain too - Otar Kakabadze.

St. Joseph's Church in Krakow, one of the finest I’ve seen in quite a while.

Just fell in love with a £4.13 warm toasted half-baguette in Krakow. It’s a very large open sandwich, which was bicep to wrist-length, topped with salami, jalapeños, crispy onions, mushrooms, cheese & a slightly spicy sauce on top. Elite scran.

I’ve been to Poland a few times, but never Krakow until now. Incredibly pretty place & a lovely vibe - lots of history, parks, great food & drink. If you visit mid-week you’ll also avoid the stag do crowd too.

Alongside the expected beautiful historic buildings in Vienna, I was also really impressed with the graffiti scene. The area by the Donaukanal is an official legal space, with kilometres worth of pieces on walls by the water - 1,000s of pieces, with lots of bars next to them.

I went on a day trip from Bratislava to Vienna on Saturday. It’s only an hour on the train between the two, with one service an hour - an easy two city trip to do & cheaper accomodation in Bratislava. First explore of Vienna and very impressed. It had a lovely buzz about it.

River surfing by the Danube, just outside Bratislava yesterday. About 25 minute drive south of the city centre there is a water sports centre, with the surf wave, kayak and canoe courses, plus mountain bike trails etc. too. It’s called Divoká Voda. Great place.

Extremely moody clouds over Bratislava this afternoon, so I escaped into the castle for shelter. Really impressive complex, sitting on a hill, overlooking the city. Quite eerie being in a castle, as thunder and lightening popped off all around.

First visit to Bratislava. It’s a relatively small capital city, but it certainly has something about it. Impressed with the food & drink scene, plus it has some pretty older parts too. A few days here & we’ll day trip to Vienna at the weekend, which is only an hour’s train away.

On the European railways today, travelling from Zurich, through the Swiss Alps, Liechtenstein and the full width of Austria, finishing the day in Slovakia. We’ve been treated to stunning scenery throughout the first half the journey.

An awesome week catching up with old friends in Zurich. If you look past the banking side of the city, the place is a playground - so many brilliant nature outlets, music events everywhere, cool public spaces to hang out in & a fun/laidback atmosphere in the summer months.

I spent Sunday floating down the Limmat from Zurich city centre, 10km out into the countryside, with a convoy of blow up rafts. People were playing music, enjoying beers & it finished with a BBQ by the river. What a way to spend a Sunday in a city, on a hot summer’s day.

A shlep up Uetliberg mountain behind Zurich, on across the ridge to Felsenegg & a dip in Lake Zurich to finish. Epic day. Zurich in the sunshine is such a liveable city, in terms of quality of life, nature, facilities & public services etc, albeit if you had a Swiss pay job.

After a brief spell in the UK for work, I’m back in my natural habitat & on the road again. A week in Switzerland to start us off, primarily Zurich, visiting a friend, soaking up some of the Women’s Euros atmosphere & a music festival this weekend.

Thousands of people out in Bournemouth yesterday for the @domwhiting DnB cycle rave, which finished on the beach by Boscombe Pier. Incredible event, drawing people of all ages together, to exercise and explore a city over a shared love of music.

The English South Coast feeling rather continental this morning, with plenty of swimmers having a pre-7:30am dip.
