This is a critique. Good/bad - a separate question. But why are some Ashoka Uni faculty members trying to appropriate Ms. Misra's writing? This critique is not about Ashoka. Let Ms. Misra be her own writer & not be owned by the institution. Set aside your academic god complex.
Aishani Misra (UG’27) from the Arts & Culture desk reflects on politics, privilege, and the celebrity in Arundhati Roy’s latest memoir, Mother Mary Comes to Me.

My column in @scroll_in "Germany is at the cross-roads of a 'migration ambivalence'. Growing anti-migrant sentiment fuelled by the rising popularity of the far right party (AfD) does little to help Germany project a pro-migrant image for Germany." https://t.co/mh4UXcpI1G

The country is attracting a much-needed skilled workforce. But racist attitudes and anti-migrant sentiment mean few will stay on.

India's obsession with sindoor has a long historical Hindu tradition. From suhaag to ek chutki shindoor to Cannes Sindoor, vermillion has got international attention spreading across politics and Hindi cinema. Is this what we call globalization of primordial identities?

Die Herkunftsnennung in deutschen Medien ist kaputt. Ausländische Tatverdächtige werden 10x häufiger genannt als deutsche. Als Ausländer bleibt man immer "Ausländer", als Deutscher ist man einfach "Berliner". #Bild #Verzerrung Mehr https://t.co/9j16gvmipM

Do @DB_Bahn drivers even know how to drive a train?? Drink spilled all over me as the driver pushes a brake, despite my best efforts at saving the glass items from falling off the table. When interrogated they say not their fault. German arrogance. @DB_Presse @DB_Bahn @DB_Info
