From day one, I’ve made education a top priority. Over the next four years, that commitment won’t change. I believe every child in Nevada should have the chance to succeed, and I’m proud of the work we’ve done to make that possible.

Over the past three days, we have celebrated our students earning Level 4-Advanced rating on the ELA or Math SBAC assessment. We had over 700 students and over 1,000 4’s between our incoming 6th and outgoing 8th graders! Nice work #GMS Grizzlies. 👏👊❤️

Students that had perfect attendance in the month of August, got a 🎈 Party! If your student comes to school every day in September, they can attend our end of month Glow Party! We always separate kids by grade levels so that they’re safe and the kids had a fabulous time! ❤️

ICYMI, CCSD began this school year with what is likely the highest number of classroom teachers it has ever had at the start of a school year. Sept. 1 staff counts are now out and they are HIGHER than August. CCSD currently has more licensed staff than they have ever had!!!
