Kirsi Viinikainen has qualified for her second WDF Women's World Championship. 'Kipa' came through the last-chance qualifier last year but in 2025 has topped the North Europe regional table. With 6 titles this year, she'll be firmly in the title mix come December.

BAYSAL WINS A CORKER! 🏴 English teenager Kaya Baysal is the new Riga Open champion after winning a brilliant final against Neil Duff. Baysal led 5-2 before Duff won three on the spin to force a decider. Baysal took that with a 14-darter that included his 4th 180 of the game!

For the first time in 8 years, Ramona Mostad Eriksen is a WDF ranking event winner. The Norwegian took home the title in today's Women's Riga Open, beating Finland's Lotte Suomi 5-3 in the final.

Neil Duff and Kaya Baysal will contest the Riga Open final. Duff is through to his 2nd final of the weekend after a 5-2 semi-final win over Estonia's Olaf Siigur. Baysal, meanwhile, threw a 16-darter in the decider to win a high-quality last four meeting with Darren Johnson.
